Challenge
Orders were taken on the floor, cooked in the kitchen and reconciled at the end of the day in separate places, so tables, bills and audit sheets rarely agreed with each other.
Strategy
Treat the restaurant as one live system: every table, order and bill updates the same record the instant it changes, and each role only sees the screen it needs.
Solution
A single workspace for admins and managers, a waiter PWA for taking orders at the table, and a kitchen display that shows tickets as they arrive, all synced instantly.
Design
A dark, low-glare palette with a single red action colour, so the interface stays readable in a dim dining room and the one thing to press is always obvious.
Development
A role-aware web application with separate admin, manager, waiter and kitchen entry points, live order synchronisation, and GST-ready billing with exportable auditing sheets.
